Meet Our Team

These men and women have been uniquely called, gifted, and qualified to help accelerate Bible Translation through technology. They are creative, energetic, fun, and enthusiastic.

Mark Stedman

Chief Information Officer

Mark has served in Christian tech for over twenty-five years. He has a variety of interests outside work including motorcycles, bicycles, orchids, and ceramics. Most important though, are Jesus and family.

Glenn Oliver

Project Manager and All Around Great Guy

Herding Cats (Colleagues) and raising Kittens (Interns) for over 10 years with WA.  It is truly joyful to personally interface with this team, the departments we support, and our partners we serve in the field. I also enjoy playing music with my brother and adding chaos to his games.
At home I herd actual cats.

Craig Oliver

Director of Application Development

Craig discovered programming as a child with a Commodore 64 and has been on a journey of discovery ever since; now he leads the application development team at Wycliffe Associates. His most important work is loving God, his wife, and his three daughters; outside of that, he plays guitar and leads worship, loves a good story or game, and keeps a basket full of puzzles at his desk.

Joe Sarabia

Language Software Team Lead

With a passion for all things Computer Science, Joe's latest interest is in optimizing Android apps to perform efficiently on toasters.

Tony Vinciguerra

Lead IT Support Specialist

Equal parts tech guru and digital firefighter, Tony battles bugs and tames chaos across the globe. With ninja-like precision and a knack for saving the day, he keeps our team online, unstoppable, and mission-ready. Beyond tech, Tony enjoys serving musically in chapel worship and answering God’s call wherever it leads.

Reuben Swartz

Business Systems Developer

With a quick laugh and an infectious smile, Reuben's personal mission is to convince all developers to prefer Microsoft products.

Dan Paris

Director of Infrastructure and DevOps Engineer

Originally from the Atlanta area, Dan is a tech nerd who loves serving where software and hardware meet. Off the clock, he’s an Ironman finisher, a homebrewer, and a Miata enthusiast. He can swim 2.4 miles, bike 112, and run 26.2, but he still hasn’t figured out how to fit three sons into a two-seater. In the evening you’ll find him coaching those boys on the baseball diamond, with his wife cheering from the stands.

Thomas Hajny

Product Designer and UI/UX Specialist

Thomas's specialty is User Experience. An alumni of our Summer Internship program, Thomas has designed a variety of websites and application interfaces since joining our team.

Tony Tran

Field Software Developer

Tony is passionate about building software that solves real-world problems and supports Bible Translation ministry. Outside of work, he enjoys woodworking, where he brings the same attention to detail and craftsmanship to building projects by hand.

Shawn Gray

Tech Advance Director

With three decades of ministry experience and a love for all things technology, he brings a heart for serving the global Church and a knack for building teams that thrive. A jack of all trades in the tech world, he enjoys turning complex challenges into practical solutions. Most of his best ideas are fueled by black coffee, pour overs, and a few too many quad shots.

Rob Gaebler

Business Systems Developer

Rob has been serving in missions for over twenty years, including fifteen in IT. He loves math, unicycling, running, sharing the gospel with international students, and playing with his baby daughter.

Will Kelly

DevOps Developer

On a day to day basis, Will is a wrangler: His toddler, code, LLMs generating code, Sunday school lessons for church, his messy kitchen, amongst many other things.

Ron Barber

Tech Advance

A long-term Maine-iac, Ron recently retired from his career and has joined Tech Advance where he helps to support international Bible Translators through our helpdesk.

Chuck Liesch

Field Logistics Manager

Chuck is currently serving as the Field Logistics Manager with WA. Before that, Chuck served as a computer technician supporting the MAST translation process and attended his first event in April of 2016. Chuck has been supporting Bible translation as a computer technician since 1992.

Ed Davis

Tech Advance and Scripture Access

Ed has volunteered with Tech Advance for more than 12 years, helping advance Scripture accessibility and supporting missionary technology efforts. A retired nuclear engineering professional, he enjoys golf, fishing, beekeeping, and restoring classic cars, and values his family's long-standing involvement in Bible translation and ministry.

Ramon "MoNcHo" Alvarado

Audio Recording Manager

MoNcHo has worked as a missionary technician in various fields where he has been blessed to serve, particularly in written and audio Bible translation. He has always believed that technology is better when it brings people together. Music is an essential part of his life, and his goal is to create and play it.

Petia Downey

Scripture Access Director

Petia serves in Bible translation publishing through print and digital media. Away from the office, she stays busy keeping up with her husband and two little girls, exploring the unique places and experiences that North Carolina has to offer, and catching a good movie. Despite Petia's unfounded phobia of autobiography, she added, "I serve as WA's SAD, but publishing Bibles makes me GLAD!"

John Wood

Tech Advance Helpdesk Supervisor

John is the Help Desk supervisor for Tech Advance. This is a service for our Bible Translation partners who need help with the technical aspect of our translation tools. He lives in the American Midwest with his wife and two adult children, six chickens, eleven goats, two dogs, and two cats.

Because much of helping people with the technology is training, John also works with the field training department, developing answers to questions before they are asked.

Larry Versaw

Tech Advance

Larry did MAST tech support for several years, followed by his current work: checking and preparing Scriptures for publication. His other favorite activities are loving his eleven grandchildren, memorizing Scripture, biking, and hiking in the Rocky Mountains.

Juan Zambrano

System Administrator

A native of Venezuela and a fan of arepa, Juan has loved tech since the moment he shorted out his first computer with static electricity. Lessoned learned, Juan threw himself into understanding all he could about how systems work together. He brings tremendous skill and dedication to supporting WA's infrastructure.

Dian Salangsang

UI/UX Designer

Dian enjoys creating thoughtful, user-centered designs and has a soft spot for pixel-perfect details. When she's not designing, she's raising her daughter, making music, and serving alongside her husband at their local church.

Maksim Murzamuratov

Field Software Developer

Max enjoys building practical software that works in real-world conditions and loves seeing tools make a difference for the people who use them. When he’s not coding, he’s spending time with his family, playing guitar, and serving his church by turning sermons into podcasts.

Wayne Fenior

Scripture Access Publishing Assistant

After a career in print and publishing, Wayne found his dream job at Wycliffe Associates, helping publish Bibles that spread the good news of Jesus. Outdoors, he’s scuba diving, fly fishing or hunting. Indoors, he’s reviving old computers, fussing over photos or chatting across the globe on ham radio. He’s never met a signal, a fish or a floppy disk he didn’t want to catch.

Tom Pfadenhauer

Mystery Man

Rarely seen in public, and never when Superman is around, Tom is responsible for managing database servers and other mysterious systems.

"The one thing that I know is that you win with good people."
